Lappyglove

This is a glove for your laptop made out of carpet tile.  It is very durable and does the job.  I suggest all laptop owners should pick one up.

Slidewasher

Soonkyu Jean created a device which appears to be for washing your hands.  I'm not sure exactly sure though.  I just thought it looked like a water slide and that made it interesting.

Human Skateboard

You may think this guy is a human skateboard (like I did at first), but if you look closely, you will see it is simply a bunch of still photos taken to make a movie.  I thought it was pretty interesting.

Muscle-Fatigue Blocker

Andrew Marks, a student at Columbia Universtiy has discovered muscle-fatigue is, in fact, not caused by the build up of lactic acid in the muscles. "Muscle-fibre cells contract when calcium ions are released inside them, under the control of ion channels called ryanodine receptors.
Now, a growing body of evidence suggests that fatigue is actually related to how these calcium ions are released and processed."(Justin Mullins, New Scientist consultant), so basically, an athlete's performance has a lot to do with how ryanodine receptors process calcium ions. He has created a drug which can prevent muscle-fatigue. To learn more visit: http://www.newscientist.com/blog/invention
